Three Engineers from Top Taiwan Universities Build the Legal Industry's "10x Assistant" with AI

In the rising wave of LegalTech, a group of engineers from Taiwan's top science and engineering programs decided to cross into the legal industry, using AI to redefine legal workflows. Tenfold AI was co-founded by three engineers who previously worked at Google and NVIDIA. Recognizing the long-standing efficiency bottlenecks in the legal industry, they set out to build an AI assistant that truly understands legal language.

Tenfold AI's core product, LexGents, is an AI platform purpose-built for legal professionals. LexGents automates tedious document management tasks — including contract review, regulatory search, and case law analysis — reducing hours of work to just minutes.

"Our goal is not to replace lawyers, but to let them focus on the work that truly requires human judgment — strategic planning and client relationships," said the co-founders. LexGents operates through multiple specialized AI Agents working in concert, combined with legal databases and professional workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every output.

On the technical side, LexGents employs an advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture combined with a proprietary legal knowledge graph, enabling precise understanding of relationships between legal provisions. The platform supports multi-jurisdiction regulatory search, currently covering the United States, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Benchmark data shows that legal research with LexGents is 20x faster than traditional methods, contract drafting is 32x faster, and complex contract review achieves up to 180x efficiency gains. The platform also reduces AI hallucination rates by 28% compared to general-purpose large language models.

Tenfold AI has received support from prominent accelerators and investors, including Plug and Play, AWS, and Microsoft partner programs. The team is actively expanding to more jurisdictions and continuously optimizing the platform, with the goal of becoming the most influential LegalTech company in the Asia-Pacific region.
